Why we made this film
We are a fire-protection contractor. We don't need a brand film to close deals. So when we produced one, it had to earn its place — by answering a question every prospective customer asks in the first meeting:
"Why do you do all of it? Why not just fire alarm? Or just sprinkler?"
The 54 seconds above is our answer. Not because we can. Because the alternative is worse — for the building owner, the property manager, the general contractor, and the fire marshal.
What “fragmented service” actually looks like
The typical commercial building has four different fire-protection contractors on file:
- A fire-alarm company that does the panel and the notification appliances
- A sprinkler company that does the wet system, and sometimes the dry
- An extinguisher company that does the annual walk-through
- A specialty contractor for whatever the AHJ noted this year — hood suppression, clean agent, ERCES, backflow
Each one shows up on a different schedule. Each one leaves a different report format. Each one has a different opinion about whose fault the last violation was. When the fire marshal walks the building, no single contractor can answer for the whole system — and the owner is the one holding all four business cards.
The film calls this out directly: “the last thing you need is three contractors pointing at each other.” That's the trade-off Zion was built to end.
What one accountable team looks like
Zion holds every Texas license the model requires — in-house, not sub-contracted:
- Fire Alarm (ACR #2371654) — design, install, ITM
- Fire Sprinkler (SCR #2571606) — design, install, ITM
- Fire Extinguisher (ECR #2370364) — annual walk-in service and hydrostatic testing
Every design is stamped by a NICET III technician. Every job produces a single, unified report format. Every AHJ interaction is logged in one system. And every bill is one bill — not four.
That's not a marketing promise. It's the operating model. The film just puts it on screen.
What the film is not
It is not a case-study reel. It is not a client testimonial. It is not a technician walk-through. We have those, and we'll publish them in future news posts — but this film had to do one thing first: state clearly what Zion is. So it does.
If you want to see technicians working, book a compliance audit and we'll show you our team in your building. If you want the story of a specific job, subscribe to News — case studies coming this fall.
