Most customers are in and out in five to ten minutes per extinguisher. Inspection, tag, and the NFPA-compliant paperwork — done.

What we do at the counter

• Annual inspection per NFPA 10 §7.2.1 — the work the AHJ wants tagged and dated.
• Hydrostatic test reminders — we'll flag any extinguisher approaching its 5-year (CO₂) or 12-year (dry chemical) hydrostatic-test threshold so you don't get blindsided.
• Internal maintenance on dry-chemical units at the 6-year mark.
• Recharge after use or expiration.
• New extinguisher sales if you need additional units or replacements.
• Class K extinguishers for commercial kitchens — required by NFPA 10 wherever NFPA 96 hood suppression is present.
• Compliance documentation — dated tag, signed inspection record, and any paperwork your AHJ or insurance carrier asks for.

Hours and how it works

Most days, just stop in. Bring as many or as few extinguishers as you need. The McKinney office is staffed by Sandy, Lorena, Denise, and Rick — named in many of our Google reviews because they're the people who actually do the work.

Pricing

We don't publish per-extinguisher pricing publicly because it depends on the extinguisher type (ABC dry chemical vs. CO₂ vs. Class K vs. clean agent), whether it needs recharge or just inspection, and whether you're inside the 6-year or 12-year service window. If you have more than fifteen or twenty extinguishers in one building, or extinguishers across multiple buildings, on-site inspection is usually faster and cheaper than transporting them to McKinney.
